Participate for a weekend – or a lifetime – it’s up to you.

Everyone who participates in the weekend will have a stake in the resulting start-up. All ownership, intellectual property, and confidentiality matters are addressed in the Participant Agreement.

Profile of a participant:

1. Level of Experience:
Students and inexperienced professionals to highly experienced professionals are all welcome to attend. The goal is to have a good mix of creative ideas and experience.

2. Level of Commitment:
One weekend. Anything else is up to you.

Before the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to interact. Once you register for the event, you will receive a login and account to access the secure part of our website, for registered participants only. This part of the site allows you to interact with people who will be attending, talk about experience, ideas, and the weekend.

Friday afternoon kicks off with a keynote speaker who may speak about topics such as innovation, start-ups, trends in technology, hard problems, and leadership. The keynote speaker is open to the public.

Friday night, participants brainstorm, vote, and decide on what start-up to build. Professional innovation facilitators help participants come to the best decisions quickly and keep everyone on time.

Saturday. Saturday is going to be a little busy.

Sunday. Also busy. Sunday night, the start-up(s) will launch, culminating in a launch party complete with a rock band.

“Monday Morning Start-up Package”: We’re going to send you off with more than a free pen, a hotdog and a rock concert. Participants who pursue the start-up beyond the weekend will get the critical resources they need to get off the ground.
