About InOneWeekend.org

Nearly 675,000 new companies are created each year in the United States. While starting a company is not for the faint of heart, the idea that entrepreneurship is a high risk endeavor undertaken by only a daring few no longer exists.

InOneWeekend was founded to help entrepreneurs experience the startup life in one weekend. Now potential entrepreneurs can decide if the startup life is something they want to pursue further before making the leap.

Our Mission

We exist to bring talented individuals together to create a company from concept to launch in one weekend and to give them the tools and network to create successful ventures and reach their highest potential.

InOneWeekend is a nonprofit, nondenominational, nonpolitically affiliated innovation and entrepreneurship organization that welcomes all people interested in innovation and entrepreneurship - regardless of age, race, religion, politics, ethnicity, experience or fashion sense - to inspire great ideas and to progress those ideas into reality.

How we work

InOneWeekend local chapters work in communities around the world to produce periodic events that not only build a company in a weekend, but also create an enduring network of innovation and entrepreneurship.

We connect passion with success. We believe that new ideas come to fruition faster when the creative minds and enthusiastic leaders of tomorrow can brainstorm and collaborate with the successful entrepreneurs of yesterday.

Who we serve

InOneWeekend was founded by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. We help people scratch their entrepreneurial and innovative itch and express new ideas in a safe, focused forum by engaging in low-cost and low-commitment events that can lead to huge things. Really huge things.

We believe that with the right tools and networks, anyone with the desire and determination can be a successful entrepreneur.
